The United States is in a crisis on the home front for affordable starter homes across America. Millions of families are denied the opportunity to create stability, safety and generational wealth. Not to mention, economic growth is affected by the crisis.

We joined over 400 of our colleagues and housing advocates for our annual meetings at Capitol Hill. Our NYS team was able to meet with members of congress to share our plight for federal funding, increase the affordable starter home stock across the country and to request priority consideration for policies that affect affordable housing.

Everyone if feeling the affects of housing shortages, which ultimately driving up building costs development costs as a whole. Not to mention, dwindling the hope for homeownership for many of the low to moderate income families that we serve.

We are asking Congress for support in funding for development costs, approve tax bills that have a positive impact on homeowners and support our new Homeownership Supply Accelerator program.
