Wow how time flies right into the Autumn season! This brings into light wonderful colors of fall and a time to transition into cooler weather, pumpkins and piles of leaves. I hope you are jumping in the leaves (you know you want to!), strolling on a path of peace and harmony!
We have been busy working with families that have submitted applications for our Homeownership Program. Our program offers an affordable mortgage for a low-income family that meets the eligibility requirements and completes all the steps of the program. We truly enjoy meeting families and helping them learn how to become financially ready to become a homeowner.
We are super excited that we have closed on a home this past week! We have a new family that is officially a Habitat homeowner. We love happy endings! Stay tuned for more information on the house blessing ceremony and pictures of the festivities.
We shift to work on our next construction project! Our volunteers are amazing and ready for a new adventure! Our Site Selection Committee is actively searching for our next Habitat home.
As our affiliate grows, we are always in search of new Board Members! Will you join us? Think about it… Our team is dedicated to helping others fulfill their dream of home ownership. We need each other to make it happen.
Become a Volunteer! We rely on our volunteer community to help us carry out our mission to provide affordable housing to all. We have Volunteer opportunities for individuals or groups.
Our Critical Home Repair Program continues to thrive! We have completed 4 projects to date. With this support and generosity of the D.E. French Foundation, The Stanley Metcalf Foundation, M. Allyn Fund and Allyn Family Foundation we are making a difference for so many families. What a success so far!
We are seeing the fruits of our labor in our community. Our hope is to inspire others, spread joy and kindness each and every day.
