CCHFH Hosts 2019 Women Build Event on Standart Avenue

Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity hosted its second annual Women Build event at our Standart Avenue project.  Thank you to all of the volunteers, sponsors and donors who made this event a success.

Over 70 volunteers joined Habitat partner Lauren and painted walls and cabinets, built picnic tables, landscaped, installed wainscoting. and much more.

Through volunteer registration, donations and a matching grant from the Emerson Foundation, the Women Build event raised over $7,000 for Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity.

Sponsors and donors for the Women Build event included the Emerson Foundation, Wegmans, Mesa Grande Taqueria, the Seward House Museum, Gwen, Inc., Dickman Farms, Regeneration, Evolve, Hansen’s Advisory Services, Prison City Pub and Brewery, Strawberry Fields, LiveInspiredNow, Zen Den, The Center, Rich and Gardner Construction Company, Smiley’s Town and Country, Owasco Paddles, Symmetry Wellness Club, and St. James Church.
