Julie Lockhart joins CCHFH as Professional Administrator

Julie Lockhart joined Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity in December as its new half-time Professional Administrator.  She is the person the public most often will first encounter when contacting CCHFH by email, phone, or social media.  Julie has years of experience working with nonprofits, including her current volunteer position as President Elect of the Owasco Watershed Lake Association.  She has always admired Habitat for Humanity’s mission of working with partner families to build their own homes.  She says, “You can’t find two much more vital causes in our county than working towards safe, secure homes for all, and protecting our source of drinking water, Owasco Lake!”  Julie admits she is a newbie with construction skills, and hopes to get a few hours under her belt very soon learning the basics at our current home project at 6 Perrine Street.  Julie adds that her husband Scott, “my personal MacGyver”, has volunteered with CCHFH in recent years, and no doubt will be showing up to help more often.

Julie can be reached at 315.255.1427 and CayugaHabitat@cayugahabitat.org.
