Supporters bring success to ‘Hooley for Habitat’

On behalf of Cayuga County Habitat for Humanity, I’d like to thank all of the supporters of our first annual “Hooley for Habitat” held recently at the Welch Allyn Lodge. We were overwhelmed with the positive response before, during, and after this St. Patrick’s themed event, and so appreciative of the dollars, door prizes, and silent auction items donated. All funds raised are helping finish the new house build at 29 Arch Street in Auburn.

Special thanks to the Welch Allyn Lodge, the Patisserie, Smiley’s Florist, Skaneateles Jewelry, MacKenzie-Childs, Auburn Travel, Frontenac Fowlers, PatCraft Printing, Heaven Sent Creations, Pioneer, Bass Pro and many others for their gifts. Raffle tickets for the beautiful diamond necklace donated by Skaneateles Jewelry will be available until the 150 ticket limit is reached, and they can be purchased by calling 246-2269. Again, heartfelt thanks to the community for supporting this worthwhile cause that is helping secure decent housing for those in Central New York.
